What is CatCare?

CatCare is a device protection insurance that covers 1 year of accidental damage inclusive of screen protection.

 

What is covered in CatCare?

1) Accidental damage: Protect against any accidental breaks or drops within 1 year.

2) Screen Protection: We’ll fix your phone screen if it breaks or cracks for a one-time RM100 service fee

3) Replacement: If your smartphone can't be repaired, we’ll replace it for a 10% deductible charge.

4) 90% of costs covered: We cover 90% costs of accidental drop/breakage repair.

FAQ

1) What's the benefit of purchasing CatCare?

CatCare provides peace-of-mind with added protection for the products you love. It covers damage from drops and breakages. This extra protection ensures you're covered for unforeseen costly repairs or replacements.
 

2) When does the coverage start?

The coverage starts on the day your product is delivered/picked up, and is activated on the portal.
 

3) Can I add on CatCare to qualify for a higher-value voucher?

No, CatCare does not qualify for vouchers and cannot be included in the minimum spend calculation for higher-value vouchers.

 

4) How can I file a claim?

You can walk into any 3cat store or contact Teega via WhatsApp.

 

5) What info is required to file a claim?

Please check if you have your contract ID (included in the confirmation email that you received from support@anycover.co on the day of activation).

  • If YES -> Please proceed to submit your claim on AnyCover Portal.
    • Once AnyCover approves the claim submission, please send your device to any 3cat store.
  • If NO -> Please chat with Teega or walk into any 3cat store, we will assist in escalating it with AnyCover.
     
     

6) How long does it take until a claim is resolved?

Usually, we will acknowledge your claim within one day and arrange for either repair or replacement within two days, so that you can get a functioning product back as fast as possible!

 

7) What if I need to return the device?

a. Return and Refund within 10 days (exclude credit card installment)

Please return your device to any 3cat store for inspection. If there is no issue with the device, we will provide a full refund to you via bank transfer within 7-10 working days.

b. Return and Downgrade / Upgrade within 10 days (exclude credit card installment)

Please return your device to any 3cat store for inspection. If there is no issue with the device, 

1) Downgrade:  We will arrange for a replacement device and proceed with an apportioned partial refund (for the device and CatCare premium) via bank transfer within 7-10 working days.

2) Upgrade: You are required to top up the additional balance (if necessary) for the device price and the corresponding CatCare premium.

c. 1:1 Exchange within 30 days

Please return your device to any 3cat store for inspection. If there is no issue with the device, we will find a replacement device for you. 

 

8) Can I add CatCare after the purchase? 

Currently, you cannot add CatCare after the purchase, but it’s something we’re working on for you.
 
9) What's not covered?
Liquid damages of any kind, and device failures not due to accidental damage - for example if the hardware stops working (our warranty covers that for you, for 1 year). Any abuse/fraudulent claims will also not be covered.
